Week of May 21, 2007
Greetings all you girls and guys in 634, 734, and 834. As the end of May is approaching, so are some of your Author Studies. 634, you are finishing your Gary Paulsen Response to Literature and presenting it in class. You will begin your Vignette Unit this week. 734, you are finishing up your Virginia Hamilton books and are beginning to make note of her writing styles, patterns, and themes. 834, you are continuing to read Ray Bradbury's works, making note of his unique characters, settings, and plots. Homework is as follows:
5/25/07
634: In Writer's Source Book, make four separate entries as follows: "Seed Piece Paragraph 1," Seed Piece Paragraph 2," "Seed Piece Paragraph 3," "Seed Piece Paragraph 4." Use the "Seed Piece Organization" hand out which is taped into your WSB.
734: Finish Virginia Hamilton book by Wednesday 5/30/07. Test on Friday, 6/1/07.
834: Write a cohesive paragraph using your graphic organizer. Finish Ray Bradbury book by Wednesday 5/30/07. Make entries in your IRL.

634: Write a paragraph describing your previous house.
734: Finish your Virginia Hamilton book by Wednesday 5/30/07. Test on Friday, 6/1/07.
834: Finish your Ray Bradbury book by Wednesday 5/30/07. Make your entries in your IRL.
