Greetings all you girls & guys in 634, 734, & 834. The second marking period ends this week as we continue with our genre studies. 634, you are continuing to analyze persuasive writing, identifying the issues and the proposals. 734, you have begun to compile your research into topics and subtopics for your nonfiction book. 834, you are researching and interviewing sources for your journalistic feature articles. Homework is as follows:

634: Add "pro," "con," "persuade," "proposal," and "adjacent" to the vocabulary section in your writer's source book.
734: Complete your nonfiction book draft in your writer's source book.
834:Complete the first draft of your article in writer's source book.

634: In writer's source books, brainstorm for pros or cons for school uniforms.
734: Continue to paraphrase research for you nonfiction book. Compile graphics as well.
834:Continue draft on JFA in writer's source book.

634: Write a quick write about the best solution for your issue.
734: Continue to paraphrase your research and bring in graphics. Complete storyboard panels for your nonfiction story.
834: Revise and edit your best lead in writer's source book. Write your best lead on loose leaf.

634- Reread the proposal to the Members of The Greenwood Baptist Church. In your writer's source book, complete the entry entitled: " Analyzing the counterargument for GBC."
734 - Bring in graphics for your nonfiction book. Continue to paraphrase your research.
834 - In your Writer's source book, make an entry entitled: "Texturing My JFA" using your research and/or interview, include an expository, descriptive, and narrative excerpt.

734:COmplete the first 4 panels of your story boards. In your writer's source book, write a clear definition for 3 vocabulary words you plan to use in your nonfiction book.
