Greetings all you girls and guys in 634, 734 & 834. As you all know, the ELA test begins next Tuesday, January 15th, and you are working very hard in preparation for it. You are continuing to read and analyze fiction and nonfiction selections as well as to analyze and answer the questions that accompany them. Additionally, you continue to construct short and/or extended responses for reading selections of various genre. Having said that, you should also continue to be working toward your 25 Book ELA standards by reading your independent books. Homework is as follows:

634: Correct ELAP and/or RAI packets. Read in your independent reading book. (You should be up to your 12th book by now!)
734: Correct ELAP and/or RAI packets. Read in your independent reading book. (You should be up to your 12th book by now!)
834: Complete reading packet. Read in your independent reading book. (You should be up to your 12th book by now!)

634: Complete ELAP -Form B (gray) booklet and make correct errors for the selections that were graded.
734: Complete and correct ELAP booklet (gray) and your RAI booklet if you haven't already done so.
834: Complete your Rachel Carson/ Survival of Wolves/ Martian Landing selections.

634: Do selection #4 in ELAP book.
734: Do Selection # 3 in ELAP book, "Five Points."
834: Answer multiple choice questions for your reading selection on loose leaf.

634: Correct your RAI & ELAP errors. Do Selection #4 in your ELAP book. Write your answers on loose leaf.
734: Correct errors in your RAI & do selection #1 in your ELAP book. Write your answers on loose leaf.
834: Answer the multiple choice questions for the reading selection on loose leaf.

634: Correct 2 selections in your RAI (purple) booklet on loose leaf. Read and answer the first 2 selections of your ELAP-Plus book (gray book) on loose leaf. Complete questions 31,32,33 in your Writer's Source Book.
734: Read the next 2 selections in your RAI booklets. Write your answers on loose leaf.
834: Read the assigned reading selection. Answer all questions on loose leaf.

Hi Kimberly. You need to finish your gray ELAP booklet; if you don't have the RAI booklet (with either the red or purple cover)don't worry about it. See you tomorrow.
