Week of December 17, 2007
Greetings all you girls & guys in 634, 734, & 834. It is the last week of school before the December break, and we are immersed in our Test Prep Unit as well as our regular genre studies. 634, you will complete your Literary Letter on Katherine Paterson this week. Additionally, you will continue to apply the strategies we've learned on various practice tests. 734, you are doing research for your nonfiction book, as well as practicing the ELA test strategies we've been working on. 834, you are doing research for your journalistic feature article, as well as applying the strategies we've been practicing. Homework is as follows:

734: Complete the first 3 selections in March 2004 packet. Write answer on loose leaf.
834: Correct December 2005 packet.

634: Final Literary Letter Due tomorrow.
734: Finish Practice Test -Grade 7 packet.
834: Finish the December 2005 Packet.

634: Revise, edit and rewrite Draft #2 of your Literary Letter on loose leaf. Correct your errors on the Grade 6 ELAP Plus booklet on loose leaf.
734: Correct your errors on the Grade 7 ELAP Plus booklet. Write what kind of question you missed next to the correction ( vocabulary, main idea, etc.). Also, complete the first 2 stories in the Grade 7 Practice booklet. Write your answers on loose leaf - NOT in the booklet.
834: Correct your errors on the Grade 8 October 2005 booklet, and mark the kind of question you missed. (vocabulary, main idea, sequence, etc.) Also, complete the first story in your Grade 8 December 2005 booklet. Write your answers on loose leaf - NOT in the booklet.
