Greetings all you girls & guys in 634, 734, and 834. Christmas Vacation is upon us, along with the cold weather, but our genre studies continue. 634, you will be finishing and reviewing your second Katherine Paterson book, and preparing for a book test when we return. 734, you will be reading a nonfiction book of your choice in preparation for your "All About Nonfiction" author study. 834, you will continue to do research for your journalistic feature artice, as well as read magazine articles of your choice. Additionally, ALL students are encouraged to log in to the "Acuity" link on is93.org's site. Remember your username is your first and last name - and your password is your 9-digit OSIS#. The specific directions are taped into your Reader's Source Book. This will provide you with practice for the ELA test which you will be taking in January.
