December has arrived and we are well into our genre studies as well as getting ready for the ELA test in January. 634, you have finished your first independent Katherine Paterson book, and we are almost finished reading Katherine Paterson's Bridge to Terabithia in class. 734, you are writing your narrative account drafts, mimicking Gary Soto's writing style.
834, you have just finished your Walter Dean Myers author study, and will begin your Journalistic Feature Article unit this week. This week we will be analyzing the results of the second Periodic Assessment, so that we can continue to improve using test taking strategies successfully.
