My Summer Blog
Greetings to all my past and future students. I hope your summer is relaxing and fun - and yes, I am hoping that you are reading some good books, and writing some of your own thoughts, adventures, poems, or stories. I just finished reading The Kite Runner, by Khaled Hosseini. It was about a boy who grew up in Afghanistan, fled to America, then returned to his country, and ended up saving a young boy's life. Even though it was a work of fiction, it was so realistic. Much of it was heartbreaking, yet there were heartwarming parts as well. I really enjoyed it. I'll let you know about my next book. I would love to hear from you over the summer. Let me know what you are reading.
