Greetings all you girls and guys in 634, 734, and 834. Spring vacation is just around the corner as we continue our genre studies. 634, you will be continuing your Gary Paulsen Author Study. 734, you will begin to construct your Executive Summary, now that your polling reports have been submitted. 834, you are continuing to read, analyze and write your own historical fiction stories. Homework is as follows:

Monday, 4/6/09
634: Read on in your Gary Paulsen book, per pacing calendar. Make an entry in your IRL.
734: Edit and revise the introduction to your Executive Summary in your Writer's Source Book.
834: Continue to research and write your historical fiction story, keeping in mind the kind of conflict your main character is facing.
Tuesday, 4/7/09
734: Complete the brainstorming worksheet for your executive summary in your writer's source book. Research who to address your Executive Summary to.
834: Complete story cycle for How Many Days to America. Revise and edit in writer's source book.
Wednesday, 4/8/09
634: Read on in your Gary Paulsen book per pacing calendar. Write a literary letter in your reader's source book about the book so far.Make an entry in your IRL for every chapter read.
734: Complete Executive Summary template and rewrite it in your writer's source book.
834:Complete reading historical fiction book #2. Complete story cycle handouts. Continue writing and revising your historical ficiton story.
