April is just around the corner and we are forging ahead in our genre studies. 634, you have finished your persuasive writing genre study, and will begin your Gary Paulsen author study this week. 734, you are editing and revising your polling report in preparation for your executive summary. 834, you are continuing to research and draft your historical fiction stories. Homework is as foloows:

834: Complete the story cycle chart. Continue research for your HF story.

634: Read Chapter 1 in your Gary Paulsen book. Make an entry in your IRL.
734: Correct 2 selections from your PA #3 in your Reader's Source Book.
834: Continue to develop your historical fiction story, using snapshots, thoughtshots & dialogue.

Friday, 4/3/09
634: Read in your Gary Paulsen book, per pacing calendar. Make an entry in your IRL for each chapter.
734: In WSB revise graphic organizer,constructed response, and extended response of your PA #3.
834: Draft #1 of your historical fiction story due by Monday.
