Greetings all you girls and guys in 634, 734, & 834. We are in the middle of March and are well into our genre studies. 634, you are drafting your persuasive essay, and including research that supports your opinion on your issue. 734, you have begun your polling reports by compiling a list of questions for your survey. 834, you are beginning your own historical fiction story as well as completing the historical fiction book you were assigned. Homework is as follows:

734: Analyze the 2 polling reports on loose leaf.
834: Read in your historical fiction book - per pacing calendar. Make an entry in your IRL. Research historical information for your character's setting.

Tuesday, 3/17/09

: Write 2 forced choice questions, 2 trankorder questions, and 2 open ended questions for your issue in your Writer's Source Book.
834: Read your historical fiction book per pacing calendar. make an entry in your IRL. Continue researching for your HF story.

Wednesday, 3/18/09
634: Write the next 3 paragraphs of your persuasive writing on loose leaf.
734: Revise and rewrite your 12 survey questions on loose leaf.
834: Read on in your historical fiction book. Make an entry in your IRL.
Thursday, 3/19/09
634: Write your solution and counterargument for your issue on loose leaf.
734: Write and revise 10 questions for your survey. (5 Forced Choice, 3 Rank Order, 2 Open Ended)
834: Finish your historical fiction book. Hand in your IRL's. Test next week.
Friday, 3/20/09
634: Revise and rewrite your solution in WSB
734: Revise and rewrite your survey questions. Read your independent book for 60+ minutes.
834: Finish reading your historical fiction book. Test on Tuesday, 3/24/09.
