It has been a while since I posted my last blog, and I do apologize. 634, you are well into your Katherine Paterson Author Study. 734, you are beginning to mimic Gary Soto's writing, by writing your own memorable narrative account. 834, you are drafting your Walter Dean Myers response to literature. Additionally, you are all beginning to practice and prepare for the ELA test in January. Homework for this week is as follows:
634: Read on in your KP book, per pacing calendar. Make an entry in your IRL. Be prepared to take a test upon completion of your book.
734: Read on in your GS book, per pacing calendar. Make an entry in your IRL. Be prepared to take a test on your second GS book when you are done with it. Replace your general nouns with specific or proper nouns in your WSB quick writes.
834: Read on in your WDM book, per pacing calendar. Make an entry in your IRL. Be prepared to take a test upon completion of your book. Your first response to literature draft on loose leaf is due.
