Week of June 4, 2007

Greetings all you girls and guys in 634, 734, and 834. June is here, and the school year is quickly coming to an end. This week, you will all be taking the Fifth Periodic Assessment in ELA, and hope to find siginificant progress over the course of the year. Genre studies are continuing as well. 634, you will be writing your poetic prose vignette and a character sketch vignette. 734, you will be writing your Virginia Hamilton Response to Literature. 834, you will be writing your Ray Bradbury Response to Literature. Homework is as follows:

6/8/07
634: Complete character sketch vignette in WSB.
734: Write summary of "Tappin', the Land Turtle" in your RSB, in the Virginia Hamilton Table of Contents. Include patterns noted as well.
834: Complete concluding paragraph of your Ray Bradbury Response to Literature in your RSB.
6/6/07
634: Read in your independent book. If you haven't done so, write final 'seed piece' and poetic prose vignette on loose leaf.
734: Revise literary letter in RSB for Power Point Presentation.
834: (Social Studies test; we did not meet.)
6/5/07
634: Write final poetic prose vignette on loose leaf.
734: (Social Studies test; we did not meet.)
834: Revise and edit parapgraph #6 in RSB.
6/4/07
634: Poetic Prose vignette on loose leaf. (Draft # 1 - skip lines.)
734: (Half day; we did not meet.)
834: Revise and edit your Ray Bradbury paragraphs in your WSB.

    hey niss varga i dont have my homework i cant find is i had the #1 daft and the #2 daft but i cant fine it now i'm lookin 4 it but i dont have it wat do i do

    Hi Ashley. Write your poetic prose vignette on loose leaf. Your final seed piece vignette should be done as well (with 2 drafts).
