834. It is hard to believe this is the last full week of school. The year has flown by so quickly! This week, you are all completing and sharing your final writing pieces for your genre studies.
634, you will finish writing and sharing your vignettes, mimicking the writing style of Sandra Cisneros'
The House on Mango Street collection.
734, you will begin to write your Virginia Hamilton Response to Literature.
834, you will be sharing your Ray Bradbury Response to Literature. Homework is as follows:
6/22/07634: Final Collage of Vignettes due.
734: Final VH Response to Literature due Monday.
834: We don't meet anymore. HAPPY GRADUATION AND CONGRATULATIONS!!!
6/21/07634: Revise final vignette to connect it to the others. Bring all library books and subject text books back to school.
734: Revise and edit first draft. Write Draft #2 on loose leaf.
834: No homework. Have fun at the prom!
6/20/07634: Revise and edit any 'final' vignettes you found errors in.

Greetings all you girls and guys in 634, 734, and 834. June is here, and the school year is quickly coming to an end. This week, you will all be taking the Fifth Periodic Assessment in ELA, and hope to find siginificant progress over the course of the year. Genre studies are continuing as well. 634, you will be writing your poetic prose vignette and a character sketch vignette. 734, you will be writing your Virginia Hamilton Response to Literature. 834, you will be writing your Ray Bradbury Response to Literature. Homework is as follows:6/8/07634: Complete character sketch vignette in WSB.734: Write summary of "Tappin', the Land Turtle" in your RSB, in the Virginia Hamilton Table of Contents. Include patterns noted as well.834: Complete concluding paragraph of your Ray Bradbury Response to Literature in your RSB.
