Greetings all you girls & guys in 634, 734, and 834. We have begun our new genre studies. 634, you have begun the Gary Paulsen Author Study. 734, you have begun your Executive Summary unit. 834, you have begun your Historical Fiction unit. Homework is as follows:

634: Read the next three chapters in your Paulsen book. Make an entry in your IRL for each chapter.
734: Bring in research by Monday.
834: Bring in research by Monday. Read "Voices from the Field." Underline researched details. List imagined details that came from the writer's imagination.

634: Read Chapter 2 in your Paulsen book. Make an entry in your IRL. In your RSB, make an entry "Being an Inquisitor" and list at least 3 questions for your book.
734: Continue researching background and history of your issue. Fill in "Sources of Information" chart.
834: Reasearch traditional foods, etc. for your character. Complete "Create a Character" chart.

734: Continue researching the background and history of your issue.
