Greetings to all you girls and guys in 634, 734, & 834. I hope you all had an enjoyable week off. It is hard to believe that March is just around the corner. This week marks a turning point in our curriculums. 634, you are finishing your Persuasive Proposals. 734, you are beginning your Executive Summaries. 834, you are beginning your Historical Fiction stories. Homework is as follows:
2/28/07
634: Continue to revise and edit Proposal Summary draft. Final due Friday, 3/2/07.
734: Writer's Source Book: 2 "'quickwrites' on __________________" for Excecutive Summary. Research your issue.
834: Writer's Source Book: "My Historical Fiction Setting" Write down country, setting, and time period your historical fiction character will come from.
2/27/07
634: Revise and edit Persuasive Proposal. Final draft is due Friday, 3/2/07.
734: Writer's Source Book entry in your Exceutive Summary Table of Contents: "Quickwrite on _______________" (community issue).
834: Interview a friend or family member. Ask why they left their country to come to America.
