ELA Test in One Month
634/ 734/ 834
It's time to practice for the ELA Test in school and on your own. Here are a few suggestions:
*Practice note taking while listening to the news.
(Abbreviate. Write key words/phrases only. Read back your notes and summarize in a paragraph.)
* Review some of the practice tests we've done. (See what you got wrong and how you were tricked.)
* Check my links for ELA practice sites and try some.
* Write an essay comparing and contrasting two articles, stories, a poem and a story, etc. Bring it in to school for extra credit.
* Read a story, an article, a recipe, a newspaper ad... ANYTHING! Make up multiple choice type questions for it, and test your friends or family. (Try to trick them by including choices that are half true OR true - but do not address the quesion or the selection.) Bring in your selection and your questions for extra credit.
RIKY from 634: Thank you for your comment. I'm so glad you have access to the internet. Keep visiting my blog and my sites.
